Why Americans are resistant to reflect ideas about historical events that differ in history as shown by the media / government? I’m not saying I agree with the “conspiracy theory” but not the only crazy menzione.Ho note that talking with friends born in other countries – especially those regions that are not democratic – you can actually have a discussion and have a conversation with them. Not so much that I agree with everything, but are not as immune to the notion of possibility. Question by Belle: Need some good advice: Obession with conspiracy theories?
My boyfriend is 27 an intelligent, happy guy! However he has an obsession with conspiracy theories! We have been together for 5 months and only into the first 2 months I started to realise how obsessed he really was with conspiracies and “David Icke” etc. Every morning he checks his iphone to look at various forums he is subscribed to and writes messages etc. He told me which forums he is on and I went on and checked them and realised how serious his views etc were. He had posted over 5000 posts over the space of 2 years! Whenever I confront him about his views and obsessions, I tell him I find them really negative and almost feel like a child being told santa isn’t real! When he reveals all these supposed “hidden truths” that really don’t interest me. He then defends himself by saying he finds it “funny” and it’s just a bit of a joke! After stumbling upon his forum comments I do not see it as a joke anymore and am really worried. I have even though about ending it as his views are SO extreme.
What do you all think? I need some good advice

Ugh.
I know exactly what you’re talking about, and the fact that he’s trying to lie to you about it being just “a joke” when clearly it’s not, is another big fat red flag.
You need to go sweety, and go fast.
Before you find yourself literally surrounded by these freaks and weirdos (the only friends they have is each other) where you’ll discover that they’re all on anti-psychotic medication and they all believe they’ve been “contacted” by ufo’s and space aliens and the illuminati and some such crap.
If you want to take the time to investigate the topic of mental disorders and discover how many of them have this behavior listed as a “symptom” it may help you understand exactly what you’re dealing with, or, you could save yourself a whole lot of time and trouble and just get the heck out of there.
I know what I typed sounds extreme but I’ve seen it happen all too many times before.
You need to pay attention to all those red warning flags and signs that a being set off, they’re happening for a reason.

Not all, but most people i just start a topic about how the pharmaceutical industry doesnt have our best interest intheir plans they either get a “oh my god what a creepy weirdo” look on their face or “thats just a conspiracy theory”. Keep in mind that i dont ONLY talk about that. Like after a RELATED topic I woukd bring it up in a NORMAL way and some people are just ignorant and wont even listen to the first few sentences. In America there is alot of corruption. Is it because people are scared to hear the truth (Ignorance Is Bliss) or they have been conditioned to think those topics are taboo?
Please share your experiences with those said type of people or if your one of the ones that are not open-minded. Thanks And this is a serious question and if you say someyhing retarded like “your a weirdo!” im going to report your ignorant butt
