i hav to giv in a paper for my ethics class on Satanic Cults and rituals.if you know anything on this subject please giv me some tips

Satan cults are usually very uneducated people attempting to "copy" a Hollywood version of what they believe Satanist are. Feel free to look up the Church of Satan though. Its an interesting read.

yes, go to your library and look in their catalog which books they have and read them.
Before you write think what your thesis is. Argue concisely and coherently.
Then make sure you use proper spelling in your paper, otherwise your instructor will be mad at you and hopefully grade you down.

I really don’t know that much about this kind of stuff, and not sure either if satanic is the right word to describe those kind of "activities" but those self-proclamed as satanist are now getting to be some kind of social issue in many countries, due to the nature of some of their rituals, such as the sacrifice of animals, unborn childs, etc.
I can tell -from the city i live in- there has been groups of these people who actually have commited a murder (but were caught by police) or some others who has a place of gathering, and they invite people, once there, they offer some "fixed" drinks so they can perform orgys. Seriously, i’m not kidding.
Obviously this is incredibly disrturbed people. Actually, i saw a documentary about this sects in Spain, from the TVE network; maybe you can digg in a little bit down there, if you speak or at least understand some spanish.
