It is all part of the "End of the World". Supposedly, the world will unite as one under one ruler (the antichrist) and then the world ends. Thats what some people think the New World Order is

Nothing good. There are no countries – just unions like the Asian Union, the African Union, and coming soon – the North American Union. It will make the UN our one world government – they were the ones who dictated ‘no child left behind’, smoking bans, gun bans, and incandescent light bulb bans.
