Amazing story of Tiamat, is it true?
February 26th, 2010 | Author: admin
I watched a video of a Michael Tsarion talking about origins and atlantis etc. He talks about a planet that use to lie in between Jupiter and Mars. A planet that was 15 times the size of Earth and was made-up of mostly oceans. This planet "exploded" thus creating the asteroid belt and the great flood. As the bible said water rained down from above, not risen up from below.
It is definitely possible that the asteroid belt is the remains of a long-destroyed planet.
The rest of that stuff is nonsense, though.

No it is not true, nor is it even vaguely possible for water to somehow drop down from space (even IF such a planet existed).
I beleive there is a Mythology section, try there for more details.

It is definitely possible that the asteroid belt is the remains of a long-destroyed planet.
The rest of that stuff is nonsense, though.

wow, that is so messed up on so many levels
first, 15 times the size of earth? what was the gravity like?
second, water didn’t travel through space and stay water.
third, READ your bible, it DOES say that the waters came from BOTH above AND below.
fourth, noah’s flood wasn’t planet wide, just where the dead sea is now.

What about massive blocks of ice? Raining water would be impossible

This is completely false. There isn’t enough material in the asteroid belt to make up one decent sized planet, let alone one 15 times the size of Earth. No one today believes there ever was a planet where the asteroid belt is. There is no evidence of the Great Flood other than what it says in the Bible.
References :
If you add together all the material in the asteroid belt, you will end up with enough mass to equal about 4% that of our Moon. Sorry, but that character is not only factually wrong, by a very wide margin, but I suspect, knows it and has a book or something to sell. The asteroid belt, by the way, is as it is because the bits failed to coalesce into a single body, not because a single body exploded.

As far as details go… that sounds fairly fancy
But anything is possible, no-one knows what caused certain things in our solar system. Everybody has theories but that is all they are.
By the way, Michael Tsarion is very possibly a disinformation agent. A lot of what he says is bang on the money, but not new information. Then once a bit of actual truth is told he hits you with a piece of disinformation. I am not in any way sure of this, but that’s what it seems like. There was also mention of him being in the Rosicrucian’s.
Its a great story though, but yeah… its leanings are toward mythology more then actual facts
