(I deleted my last question so I could reword this a bit.)
There is a group of people who troll the Yahoo Answers boards with seemingly no other purpose in life but to find any question asked about or directed to Jehovah’s Witnesses, and when they find those questions they fill their comments up with the most ignorant, hateful, slanderous lies and false accusations. They’ll also willfully distort and twist our Bible-based beliefs and teachings into something completely “out there”. I’m not talking about regular people who simply don’t know who we are, I’m referring to people who know precisely who we are and make it their goal to follow their god, Satan, into driving people away from Jehovah’s people by filling their heads with all kinds of lies. These same ones will either outrightly ignore the scriptures, or they’ll twist what they say to try and fit their satanic false doctrine (i.e. Jesus is God, God is a trinity, people can burn in hellfire, etc..etc…).
It’s very easy to recognize the members of this hate group cult…..they generally will call us a “cult” (knowing the term doesn’t even remotely apply), they’ll say we’re into “mind control”, “brainwashing”, or other such ridiculous nonsense. So the question is……why is there such aggressive hatred on their part towards us? We’re peaceful people, we live by the Bible’s laws and standards, we’re good citizens of the lands we live in…….so……why?

I was just wondering a similar thing; it seems to me that such anti-witnesses are consumed with a desire to control what information people access about us.
How it must burn that their efforts come to nothing and even here in the “lions den” of Yahoo Answers people clearly ask and appreciate honest answers and clear information about Jehovah’s Witnesses.
The bottom line is most people have an aunt, a workmate, a cousin or a friend that is a witness and know we are honest hard working balanced and respectable people.
In the end… no matter.

Okay so 1st, are they like Satanic or something? in the video, the lead singer is wearing a shirt, and it has a cross on it, both upside down and upside up, and when i saw the umspde down one, i instantly thought Satan because thats like their sign, am i right?
And 2nd, somewhere in the video, it says, “Yes this is a cult”, okay so im not very religious or anything, but i do not know what that means. I dont know what a “cult” really is so it just got me wondering..

Some sites like jesus-is-lord.com, carm.org, and gotquestions.org claim that Roman Catholicism is a”Babylonian secret cult” or a pagan religion or satanic etc etc etc for a number of reasons. One of these is that apparently, the RCC worships “saints” and thereby practises polytheism.
Having BEEN a Roman Catholic for 20 years, this has not been my experience. Of course, perhaps I was only being raised by dissident Catholics who really were closet Lutherans, or evangelical fundamentalists. So how do I know I, my family, and my conservative pastor really stand for what is truly and utterly Catholic when we say “Catholics do not worship the Saints”?
I couldn’t. Until I discovered a few things:
1) the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The CCC is a scholarly overview of Catholic belief and doctrine. It is approved for publication with an “Impratur” (a special “seal of approval” from a Catholic doctrinal censor) and officially free from doctrinal error (“Nihil Obstat” – that is, it is perfectly in line with Catholic doctrine according to doctrinal censors).

So why, then, do Protestants (and possibly others) think we worship the Saints?
