Satanic cults? Do they exist?
You always hear those rumors of some devil-worshiping cult that sacrifices babies and virgins, but have you really ever known of a true one? I mean that actually worships and bows down to the "devil"? Some ppl associate this with Wiccans/witchcraft, but I know thats not what they are about. I’m sure it could be taken to the dark side, but I don’t know anyone who has. Really, do you think there really are ppl who are in a satanic cult? And I don’t want to hear the ‘christian’ answer about witchcraft, cause my mind is made up on that subject, they worship everthing, mother earth, nature, so on…peaceful religion, unlike christianity and most others. the church of Satan was founded by Anton lavey in 1966 and he is also the author of the satanic bible (which i own). they do in fact worship and practice acts that are associated and involved with the devil that are similar to those practiced in which craft. it is a wide misconception that they promote evil and murder and sacrifice. while the satanic bible does show you how to "sell" your soul to the devil and how to call to the devil for guidance, satanism is more about self expression and not conforming to the normals of other organized religions. i am not a satanist, but i do be live that there is evil out there.
