Christians wrote about the death of God then about the life of him- Michael Tsarion

Well I leave the philosophical implications to others. The one thing that bothers me the most about this myth. John 3:16 the xtians love to quote–yet–if one knows that death is not permanent and clearly is just a tiny amount of time in the eternity these mythical deitys had existed–then–there is no sacrafice whatsoever–it was totally without meaning with respect to the word sacrafice. Act in a informative play might be okay–the only true sacrafice would have been if the mythical deitys son was put to death and stayed dead–that would have meant something. There is no sacrafice involved in a no-lose situation. Therefore the word love in john 3:16 means nothing as well–he could have loved, hated, or been ambivalent–and as there was no loss–no sacrafice–as the whole thing was a no lose situation–anything said would have worked just as well. It’s like aying I love you and I’ll give you a ring–but it won’t cost me anything at all. Doesn’t particularly show someone cares about you enough to actually work to give you something or sacrafice to give you something. A very large sham is my opinion

My hope is to frame this question, such that there is no bias one way or the other.

I want to know what moves controversial, unresolved conspiracy conversations forward?

That is, why do some people give thought to plausible theories-those having credible evidence-especially when they fail the logical fallacy test (such as the highly controversial 9-11 and global warming issues) and other people aggressively avoid those issues entirely?

When answering, please, no references to David Icke, Michael Tsarion or ‘Reptoids’ or anything with ‘Tesla’/UFO/Maya connections. Interesting though they may be, I’m interested in plausible theories and rational thinking, not grand assumptions or make-em-ups.

I dunno, I myself am always interested in Conspiracy Theories, my conclusion: we as a race are always trying to search for meaning. I’m only 14 so I guess I don’t know very much about the world as of yet, but I’m always looking for different solutions to problems, explain the unexplainable, right? Maybe that’s why, no matter how obvious the facts are we just keep asking questions, just like you did

I watched a video of a Michael Tsarion talking about origins and atlantis etc. He talks about a planet that use to lie in between Jupiter and Mars. A planet that was 15 times the size of Earth and was made-up of mostly oceans. This planet "exploded" thus creating the asteroid belt and the great flood. As the bible said water rained down from above, not risen up from below.

It is definitely possible that the asteroid belt is the remains of a long-destroyed planet.

The rest of that stuff is nonsense, though.

Looking for a few books to read, something along these lines:

1. TV Series Lost; Mysterious Island…
2. Interstellar war (similar to Mass Effect game)
3. Anglo Saxon times (other than Bernard Cornwell’s(read them already))
4. Something based on Michael Tsarion’s Ancient Astronaut theory
5. Akin to the theme of the Bioshock game (objectivism) other than Ayn Rand.

For interstelar war you could try Ender’s game by Orson Scott Card. (And the sequels and companion books, some of them are too much for me, but the Shadow companion stories rock)

They’re about a kid in a future world after a war with bug like aliens. Every family is allowed 2 kids. Ender is a third, allowed only if the first two kits show promise for things the world needs, like a great military commander. Ender is sent to battle school. He’s small and everyone assumes he’s stupid. He gets in trouble for not following orders in his ‘army’ even though his ideas win the battles…
It’s pretty good and the end gets a bit surreal… And it sets it up for some really cool other books to go along.
They re-covered it and put it in the kid’s book section for some reason that I can’t figure out. But it’s also in the fantasy/sci fi section.

If unfamiliar I recommend googling Michael Tsarion and check out his works, or you can just go to yahoo and type in Atlantis, Alien visitation and genetic manipulation and there you will find on the first page of results the complete book on this subject written by Mr.Tsarion in pdf form.

Oh, one hears this sort of nonsense now and then.

He seems like a very unhappy man. I don’t put much stock in the occult and such.

crackpot? philosopher? cool dude?

I find what he says to be compelling, especially his theory on "govern-mente"

He makes some points that people wish were true, however some of his statements are a little far fetched.
