Do you buy any of this 2012 doomsday prophecy stuff? It’s fascinating, but is there anything to it?
Below is a quote from Wikipedia on the subject of 2012 prophecy. Do you believe any of this stuff might actually happen?
2012 geophysical and cosmological speculations
John Major Jenkins, and others [10] claim that an alignment will occur when the sun rises above the horizon on December 21 2012, at which point the sun will rise in the middle of the Milky Way Galaxy, thus causing an alignment between the earth, sun, and the galactic center.[11] This event is said to cause numerous earth changes, however that is not possible considering that the event is only a visual phenomenon from the earths perspective, which is caused by the precession of the equinoxes or the 26,000 year wobble of the earth, which only changes our perspective, not the actual position of the earth in relation to the galaxy. In short, there is no gravitational force or radiation to be expected from this event because other than the tilt of the earth, nothing will be any different than any other solstice. [12][13][14]
There are also claims like from Michael Tsarion [15] that an actual physical alignment of our entire solar system will occur with the horizontal plane of the Milky Way Galaxy on that day. The solar system is moving around the center of the galaxy every 225 million years or so, and while doing so is moving up and down in a cycle crossing the plane every 33 million years. According to the Journal Nature, this isn’t so because there is evidence of the solar system crossing the galactic plane 3 million years ago. This would mean that we are moving away from the galactic plane not toward it, and we won’t be due to cross it for another 30 million years.[16]
There are also theories that a currently unknown planet, sometimes referred to as planet x or Nibiru, which supposedly has an odd orbit that only enters the local solar system every 3600 years will return in 2012 causing many problems. [17] The idea is traced back to Zecharia Sitchin and his translations of Sumerian texts and specifically to his interpretation of the VA 243 cylinder seal which he says shows that the Sumerians knew of 12 planets (minus the sun and the moon which they considered planets) and as such, this would mean there is another planet. This idea has been challenged by his peers, most notably, Dr. Michael Heiser who has written several papers on the subject, [18] one of them detailing how and why Sitchins interpretation of VA 243 is wrong. [19]
Among other possible scenarios is that a shift of the earth’s magnetic poles may occur, and that this will leave the earth vulnerable to harmful radiation from the sun.[20] According to NASA this event does not occur on a particular day or year, but over the course of thousands of years, and contrary to popular belief the magnetic field does not vanish during this natural cycle, it just becomes more complex as it makes the transition.[21]
Some proponents of the pole shift scenario claim that this shift would be a physical movement of the poles of the earth, and not simply a magnetic shift. This event is called a true polar wanderer. Earth has experienced a few degree shift in the past, but nowhere near a reversal, and there is no reason to suggest this is likely or even possible. According to William Sager, a Texas A&M Oceanographer, a slight shift in the physical pole occurs at a rate between 5 and 10 degrees per million years, which means that this event could not happen on a particular day or year but only over a long period of time. [22]
2012 metaphysical speculations
2012 is claimed by some with New age beliefs to be a great year of spiritual transformation (or alternatively an apocalypse). There is disagreement among believers whether 2012 will see an end of civilization, or humanity will be elevated to a higher level.[23]
Many esoteric sources[who?] interpret the completion of the thirteenth B’ak’tun cycle in the Long Count of the Maya calendar (which occurs on December 21 by the most widely held correlation) to mean there will be a major change in world order.
Several authors have published works which claim that a major, world-changing event will take place in 2012:
* The 1997 book The Bible Code by Michael Drosnin claims that, according to certain algorithms of the Bible code, an asteroid or comet will collide with the Earth. Drosnin also states in his book that the Bible code only predicts possibilities.
* The 2006 book 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl by Daniel Pinchbeck discusses theories of a possible global awakening to psychic connection by the year 2012, creating a noosphere.
* Riley Martin claims that Biaviian aliens will allow passage aboard their ‘Great Mother Ship’ when the Earth is ‘transformed’ in 2012.
* Terence McKenna’s numerological novelty theory suggests a point of singularity in which humankind will go through a great shift in consciousness.
* Dannion Brinkley, in his 2007 book, Secrets of the Light, a follow-up to his 1995 bestseller
If the Cardinals made it to the Superbowl, anything is possible…
Are the 2012 end-time prophecies unlike previous end-of-the-world dates in that there are so many coincidences?
There are literally hundreds of dates in the past where various religions, thinkers, so-called prophets have said that the world will end.
A few of these dates stand out. But of course, all were found to be bogus.
I tend to think that absolutely NOTHING supernatural will occur in 2012. I am more curious to see how humans react to the possible hysteria that could ensue because there are so many prophecies.
But my question is… are the 2012 Doomsday prophecies unique in that there are so many of them? And that such a large number of coincidences between various cultures seem to be involved?
Here is a list of only some of the prophecies

Good question.
yeah, I suppose there’s lots of them. And this could be the biggest date in history in terms of end time hysteria.
But I agree – nothing special is gonna occur
george bush sr and wife barbara are both descendants of Godfoi de Bullion and the Windors:is george jr inbred?
that would explain a lot, wouldn’t it?
sources: Burke’s Peerage; the research of Michael Tsarion, Alex Jones, David Icke, Jordan Maxwell, and many others…
very good ,at least somebody is on the right track instead of the millions brainwashed zombies who let them selves be led by the nose until eternity i suppose
and yes
the high level royal blood is inbred since they are very fanatic about keeping it pure but most of the secondary levels of breeding is with other blood from outside ,like Kissinger,Hitler,Clinton’s ,Gorbachev
the other 34 presidents of the USA and God knows who else
the Windsors are directly related to Vlad the Impaler .a singularly blood thirsty person ,to say the least .
it may account for prince Philips attitude as regards ordinary mortals.
the Rothschild’s have gone to great lengths to spread their oats about
to be used as slaves, sacrifices, leaders whatever is needed
would not surprise me in the least if they have not cloned a lot by now
did you know that "jesus" is just a metaphor for the sun, derived from the phoenician/sumerian religion?
the story of the "son" (or sun) dying on the cross is derived from ancient astral theology: the symbol for the zodiac is a circle on a cross (the circle represents the sun, the cross represents the four seasons). on the 22nd of december, the winter solstice occurs- this is the day the sun is out for the least amount of time (the sumerians considered it "dead") it rises on the same longitude for 2 days, and on the third day, it resumes it’s cycle (or is born/re-born, after 3 days). 3 days after dec 22, of course is the day that jesus was supposedly born (christmas).
hence, the story of jesus being born on the 25th, and the story about jesus dying on the cross and being resurrected after three days.
sources: the research of Jordan Maxwell, Michael Tsarion, David Icke, zecharia sitchin (and many others); the bible; numerous sumerian, phoenician, hebrew, tibetan, mayan, aztec, and just about any other ancient society’s texts.
equivalent metaphors can be found in every major religion- all are derived from the same source
keep in mind- the sumerians pre-date jesus by thousands of years
While you are correct in what you say about understandings of the sun in ancient Mesopotamian culture, I think your conflation of these ancient myths with the story of Jesus is erroneous, in spite of the fact that you note some similarities.
A huge expanse of time, some 3500, years separates the Sumerian culture from the time of Christianity; as well, the ideas of Zoroastrianism and Mithraism, while in some ways suggest elements of Christianity, actually derive from different sources. For example, you trace the cross symbol from the zodiac to Christian symbology. A more accurate tracing of the cross symbol would show its development from Judaism into Christianity.
Why is Jesus birth thought to be December 25th? Early Christians believed that Jesus was crucified on 25 March (according to the Julian Calendar, that is). They also believe that this was the very same day that He was conceived in Mary’s womb about thirty-four years earlier.
There are a number of sects that promote the idea that Easter and Christmas have pagan origins; however there are numerous recent writings that dispute this idea.
You list the research of several individuals who are not at all scholars and are involved in "conspiracy theory" journalism. So while they may have some interesting ideas, they are not Sumeriologists nor are they experts in the development of early Christianity, so use caution in how you read what they have to say.
Reptilian infiltration in humanity ?
I recently came across a video on Google videos based on a guy called David Icke who believes that a aliens of a reptilian nature infiltrated the human race maybe thousands of years ago and their bloodlines still exist today through the British monarchy amongst other places. As a very open minded person i decided to research this point a bit further and came across many other people who believe the same kind of theory including a guy called Michael Tsarion in a documentary called the origins of evil. My question is what is your honest opinion on this theory and where can i learn more about it ?
Thanks in advance for any answers x
It’s all hogwash.
How do you feel about the Zionists and their power over the world??

Next the statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting the blame upon the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those conscience-soothing tactics, and will diligently study them, and refuse to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception – Mark Twain
The WAR ON TERRA is merely the latest move in the great game played out by the Atonist Establishment, the Royals, and Vatican Jesuit-Masonic elites who expertly employ the Dialectic ("Ordo Ab Chao") to further their very personal aspirations which date back to an old world order that you are supposed to know nothing about. So lets get clear on a few things, and stay sane in the midst of growing insanity.
The "Israeli-Palestinian" conflict is engineered from London and New York by elites who have ancient origins and who use such bogus conflicts to create an ambience of fear and paranoia and to ensure that few are aware of the real enemy of mankind. Islamic "extremists" are funded by the same hidden hands that fund the Zionists and the Fundamentalist Christian Evangelists. Israel, dear people, the real Israel, has nothing to do with Jews, just as Christ has nothing to do with modern Vatican-style Christianity. We have been "Mel Gibsoned" and "Pat Robertzoned" to death and are mentally infected by many a deadly pathogen, the worst of which is IGNORANCE. The cure is on its way.

How Can Jesus Be God and Die, When God is Immortal.?
Christians wrote about the death of God then about the life of him- Michael Tsarion
Well I leave the philosophical implications to others. The one thing that bothers me the most about this myth. John 3:16 the xtians love to quote–yet–if one knows that death is not permanent and clearly is just a tiny amount of time in the eternity these mythical deitys had existed–then–there is no sacrafice whatsoever–it was totally without meaning with respect to the word sacrafice. Act in a informative play might be okay–the only true sacrafice would have been if the mythical deitys son was put to death and stayed dead–that would have meant something. There is no sacrafice involved in a no-lose situation. Therefore the word love in john 3:16 means nothing as well–he could have loved, hated, or been ambivalent–and as there was no loss–no sacrafice–as the whole thing was a no lose situation–anything said would have worked just as well. It’s like aying I love you and I’ll give you a ring–but it won’t cost me anything at all. Doesn’t particularly show someone cares about you enough to actually work to give you something or sacrafice to give you something. A very large sham is my opinion
Why are people interested in conspiracy theories?
My hope is to frame this question, such that there is no bias one way or the other.
I want to know what moves controversial, unresolved conspiracy conversations forward?
That is, why do some people give thought to plausible theories-those having credible evidence-especially when they fail the logical fallacy test (such as the highly controversial 9-11 and global warming issues) and other people aggressively avoid those issues entirely?
here’s some appetizers to start with:

When answering, please, no references to David Icke, Michael Tsarion or ‘Reptoids’ or anything with ‘Tesla’/UFO/Maya connections. Interesting though they may be, I’m interested in plausible theories and rational thinking, not grand assumptions or make-em-ups.
I dunno, I myself am always interested in Conspiracy Theories, my conclusion: we as a race are always trying to search for meaning. I’m only 14 so I guess I don’t know very much about the world as of yet, but I’m always looking for different solutions to problems, explain the unexplainable, right? Maybe that’s why, no matter how obvious the facts are we just keep asking questions, just like you did
what symbol of McDonalds is toxic to the human soul and society?
allegedly by Michael Tsarion
its not good in any religion to practice idolatry or worship any god or demigod that is satanic fraud.
i dont know who litha is or what kind of sabbat altar you are talking about. i just dont think its a real goddess.
Amazing story of Tiamat, is it true?
I watched a video of a Michael Tsarion talking about origins and atlantis etc. He talks about a planet that use to lie in between Jupiter and Mars. A planet that was 15 times the size of Earth and was made-up of mostly oceans. This planet "exploded" thus creating the asteroid belt and the great flood. As the bible said water rained down from above, not risen up from below.
It is definitely possible that the asteroid belt is the remains of a long-destroyed planet.
The rest of that stuff is nonsense, though.
