Do you agree that Jesus = Horus?
Why is it not obvious to people that Jesus is simply the continuation of the Egyptian god Horus, respun for Jews via Old Testament exegesis? Even the birth story is straight out of Astrotheology. Revelation is also obviously astrotheological.
Most historians will not admit this, but, most historians are Christians, so I wouldn’t expect them to be unbiased on this point. They start with the assumption Jesus was god incarnate and go from there, so of course they are never going to reach the straightforward conclusion.
This knowledge has existed for well over a 100 years, long before the Zeitgeist movie began to popularize it.
Let’s see:
Horus
–noun Egyptian Religion.
a solar deity, regarded as either the son or the brother of Isis and Osiris, and usually represented as a falcon or as a man with the head of a falcon.
Jesus

2.(“the Son of Sirach”) the author of the Apocryphal book of Ecclesiasticus, who lived in the 3rd century b.c.
3.Christian Science. the supreme example of
God’s nature expressed through human beings.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . no, sorry, I just don’t see it. Maybe some other random thing, like apple?
Apple
–noun
1.the usually round, red or yellow, edible fruit of a small tree, Malus sylvestris, of the rose family.
2.the tree, cultivated in most temperate regions.
3.the fruit of any of certain other species of tree of the same genus.

8.Slang. a red capsule containing a barbiturate, esp. secobarbital.
no, not there either. Maybe if you look long enough and . . . . put on some rose colored glasses you will see whatever the hell you want?
Fill in the blanks and correct this for me, no Christians please. Christianity is too detached from this.?
The name Lucifer means "light" (enlightenment). He is symbolized by the serpent, the symbol of wisdom. He wanted man to eat from the tree of wisdom, know good and evil, and become gods. When mankind built the Tower of Babel, God destroyed it and mixed up their language, so that they couldn’t become gods. The Bible was written falsely, based off older religions, which were based off Astrotheology. The church did this for control, they created an enemy, Satan, who wanted to free man. The church, by doing this, turned freedom and enlightenment into an evil thing, and made anybody working for these goals into an enemy, having them executed.
God is in a good mood is a perfect example of the control the church wanted to get out of this.
I didn’t call Christians detached. I said they’re too detached from what I have to say.
"no Christians please" O.K. I’ll go make myself a cup of tea..
If you try to deny the entire bible’s validity based on the…?
argument that christians believe the bible when it says the earth is 6000 years old… would the notion of a Great Year (as used in ancient Astrotheology) of being over 25,000 years and applied to the number 6000 make a seemingly ludicrous fact a little more plausible when taken not in a STRICTLY LITERAL sense? just thinking…
i can see once again that a point has been hit a little too high out over the stands in this crowd, so i’ll try the, boring, direct approach: people who use the label of literalism to discredit other people’s thought and who are guilty of the same kind of literalist translation to support their discrediting, should probably drop the stones right now.
let’s try again. it’s not the facts in question here. it’s the rhetorical dynamic used to question the argument that is flawed. this is precisely what i’m trying to point out. you can’t defeat an argument if the argument you use to defeat an argument is flawed itself. p effin s: drop your weapons and wave your hands in the air like you just don’t care!!!
why can’t we all just accept one another and love one another and not demand that all of us become what all of us want all of us others to become and have some drinks and some laughs together instead of all this s**t? go away!!!
The Bible DOESN’T SAY the earth is 6000 years old… two nuts, Lightfoot and Ussher, from the 17th century (several others published similar numbers around the same time) said that and unfortunately, it seems to have stuck. The Bible makes no such statement.
… Arriving at such a claim requires doing a significant disservice to the text, taking numerous passages out of their contexts, and applying grossly improper exegetical methods.
Modern people who believe this read it into the scriptures rather than discover it through an exposition of those scriptures…
DID JESUS TURN WATER INTO WINE? ?
Are you aware that this "same" tale is found in other mythologies and is part of the solar mythos and one of many stories taken from Astrotheology concerning various prior "sungods" existing thousands of years before the New Testament’s Jesus?
Are you aware that long before the Christian era, Dionysus/Bacchus was said to turn water into wine?
To some extent Dionysus and Christ had many things in common. Christ was also associated with blood and the vine, and many myths and attributes of Dionysus were used in early Christian iconography.
Why dont you read the details.
yea.
you believe what you want. i will too. i believe in the truth.
Why do Christians claim atheists can’t prove god doesn’t exist?
While you can’t prove that something that doesn’t exist doesn’t exist, we are able to go back and see what these myths were based upon. Which after you do enough studying they were clearly based upon Astrotheology and shamanism (drug use.)
Of course Christians are in total denial about their ancient book of pagan tales of astronomy, astrology, and getting high off of the forbidden fruit, the manna from heaven, the bread of life, Mushroom Jesus… these stories can all be logically explained without the need for any supernatural fictional super heroes or big daddies in the sky. So please before you claim that nobody can prove "god" doesn’t exist please realize that many of us know the myths and the origins of the myths that these stories were based upon.
Mary Jane the Old Testament "God" is the planet Saturn, which isn’t actually a planet at all, it’s a burnt out sun/star. It’s known as the Black Sun, The Dark Star. It’s represented by the black cube, and the black square. This is why Jews worship their god on SATURNday and Christians worship the New SUN or New Testament on SUNday of course. If you go look up the Grateful Dead cover band Dark Star Orchestra, you’ll see that one of their popular logos is the name of their band inside the planet Saturn. This is common esoteric knowledge, and the Romans used to celebrate Saturnalia right around the same time we celebrate Christmas the rebirth of the Sun.
Gravy Baybee… the walking on water bunkum is about the reflection of the SUN walking on the water… or reflecting off of the water. Jesus besides being a mushroom in the bible is also a personification of the SUN, the sun in the astrological Age of Pisces to be more specific.
Birdsflies, Christians follow a totally bogus interpretation of the story of the garden of eden, the serpent, the tree, and the snake are the real god, together they create the Caduceus which is a symbol of psychedelic enlightenment, and is now our symbol for medicine. The snake represents the wisdom of the pharmacia, not Satan… did Moses put Satan on a stick and heal people with satan? The tyrannical evil god that wanted to keep everyone ignorant is the Satan of the story and this is how the ancient people that wrote these tales interpreted these stories… not that garbage the church teaches you.
Only ignorant or stupid people deny God’existence.
Romans 1:20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
Romans 1:21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Heb 3:4 (For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.)
PS : Jesus Loves U !!!
Are the atheists the only ones that know about this

The “forbidden fruit” mentioned in Genesis is also analogous to the later church-banned mushroom. The “fruit” opened the minds of the eaters and brought forth knowledge and loss of innocence. A 12 th century church in France depicts the forbidden fruit tree of Genesis as amanita muscaria mushroom bunch surrounded by Adam and Eve Just as the U.S. government quickly stopped its citizens from having mind-expanding substances in the 1960’s (under the guise of public safety,) the early Christian Church expunged this practice as well to keep a power hold over the citizenry (under threat of death.)

Has anyone else realised that religion is just the worship of astrology?
Ive been comparing the story of Horus with the story of Jesus. These so called saviours lived 3000 yrs apart yet have the same story to tell.We worship the same gods as the ancient Egyptians. For example when the North African rains came they would flow downhill into the north of the country thus flooding the nile delta and its tributaries. The ancient Egyptians realised this flooding although bringing devastation was also a so called godsend as it fertalized the surrounding area by laying down fresh minerals( and weve all heard how fertile the soil was supposed to be around the nile delta),thus bringing new life and washing away the old. What im getting at though is this- They used to call this event/celebration ‘The arga-noa’ which means a ‘wet moon’ as the moon was in its lower quarter and thus resembles an ark.Therfore this is where we get the christian story af noahs ark or the arga-noa,its just a story about the positioning of celestial bodies in the heavens or Astrotheology.
Some interesting observations, but this is a somewhat spurious and half finished piece of research.
I respectfully suggest that you go back and study both religions in greater detail to discover the multiple differences, not least of which is that Judaism and Christianity are monotheistic whereas ancient Egyptian religion was polytheistic.
Jesus the SUN of God.?
Now this is Astrotheology in its purest form.
John 8:12 12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (KJV)
Can a Christian "logically" explain this to me.
darkness has always bee equated with ignorance or lack-of-knowledge.
While light has always been illumination of your soul.
What do you think about the belief that Jesus wasn’t a person, but the Sun, his mother the Virgo constellation
Have you ever heard of this? Astrotheology?
I found these films to be quite interesting, not saying that I believe this to be true, but an interesting take:
I figured that out when I watched Jesus Christ Superstar as a child-
and now that I’m a pagan, I realize that he’s taken from the Sun gods of many nations- from his birth to his crucifixion, the story has been told before.
Have you seen the movie Zeitgeist?
What are your thought on the movie Zeitgeist when the mention Astrotheology.
When i saw it it freaked me out. I was already an Atheist but this just proved it even more so.
yea, jesus is the latest sun god, in a long line of sun gods.
