Will the information Age be the end of religion?
February 7th, 2010 | Author: admin
As information becomes more and more availabe and people can research ancient religions, Astrotheology and reasons for Rationalism/atheism it is going to squeeze out belief in superstitious and emotional belief in a myth.
It would be nice. But I doubt it.

Atheism is a natural evolution for humanity. One day we will evolve to a point where we won’t need god anymore.

Myth is your little evolution theory, even Darwin himself said if by this time, will all of our technological advances, we cannot prove the theory, he was wrong, thats why it still remains a theory.
Religious beliefs have been worth dying for, for thousands of years, and still going strong, I have yet to see anyone willingly die for lack of faith in God, evolution or Darwin.
P.S. The information age was last century, where the atheistic governments were responsible for 100+ deaths, talk about rationality eh?

Not just yet. There are those that will resist and deny any information that poses an affront to their faith.
We will shed the "bindings" of religion when we fully accept and realize that there is nothing supernatural about the universe.

no, people’s religious beliefs will just become increasingly vague and abstract.
