What do you think about the belief that Jesus wasn’t a person, but the Sun, his mother the Virgo constellation
Have you ever heard of this? Astrotheology?
I found these films to be quite interesting, not saying that I believe this to be true, but an interesting take:
I figured that out when I watched Jesus Christ Superstar as a child-
and now that I’m a pagan, I realize that he’s taken from the Sun gods of many nations- from his birth to his crucifixion, the story has been told before.

Read the Epic of Gilgamesh? I just finished it. The parallels are astounding. It’s obvious they took from the Hebrew oral tradition with the flood story and creation story.

There are a lot of crackpot ideas out there about Jesus, and I’m guessing that this is just the latest one.
It’s become fashionable these days to cook up all sorts of goofball ideas about Jesus — that he was gay, that he was married to Mary Magdalene, that his tomb was found, that he never died on the cross, and so on.
These warped ideas are never pushed by people with an honest interest in learning and scholarship. They’re pushed by people with an anti-Christian axe to grind.
I don’t know when this sort of stuff will become so tired and old that people won’t go for it anymore — but I hope that day comes soon.
