Leadership – How to Become a Real Leader
Are leaders only born, or can you become a real leader? History answers this question. You can become a leader, and even of a country. It’s up to you. Here are the basics of how to become a real leader.
Check Yourself. Who are You?
To become a real leader, people would have to follow you. Why should they? Have you anywhere to lead them? Whether it be in your family, your work, an organization, wherever, you must check yourself to see “why would people wish to follow my leadership?”
This means, are you the role model or example people can relate to? No? If not, you must become so. Talking about what you can do, who you are, and so on will not make you a leader.
Becoming a Role Model
Nothing secret here. You are the master of your actions, and if you wish, you can become the perfect father, or employee, or employer, or member of an organization. People will notice. Are you the first to stand up for what you believe? Are you always present at important events? Is you working meaningful? People notice these things
You Change by Being a Role Model
Perhaps you were not the perfect father, employee and so on, but by working towards it, YOU CHANGE, it’s inevitable. As you change, people notice.
What is a Leader?
The characteristics of a leader are too wide to describe here. Sometimes (and in primitive societies) leaders were simply the strongest of men. Over time and evolution, that changed. Leaders were often the wealthy, or even the crafty. People followed willingly, and often unwillingly. A real leader leads people willingly.
As the most basic example, as the leader of a family, your actions and words must always be the same. Do as you say and say as you do. You must always be there to support any of the others in the family situation. You must demonstrate your intentions that the family is the single most important thing in your life.
A leader has these qualities, and in the final analysis, people notice, people begin to follow. If you can lead a family, you can lead your workplace. If you can lead at your workplace, you can lead an organization. It follows, and in the end, you can lead a whole country. It’s up to you, and the energy you are willing to put into it.
People are Following, Now What?
So you have become a leader. Your responsibilities have just increased. You are a role model and have now the power given to you by people who follow. They expect you will cover their needs, and lead them in the way of their obvious benefit. If you can do this, people will really follow, and you have become a real leader.
Last Word
Don’t let down the people who put their trust in you. If you wish to lead, this is your basic responsibility.

Sightseeing In Dubai
Although a very small place, Dubai offers a lot of scope for sightseeing. Dubai has deeply rooted Islamic traditions but at the same time, has a life style similar in many ways to other parts of the world.
Jumeirah Mosque – The best known illustration of modern Islamic architecture. The mosque has two minarets and a splendid dome and is one of the most popular spots visited by tourists.
Sheikh Saeed’s House – The house is situated near the sea. It was built by the Sheikh for getting a better view of shipping activities. It is an exquisitely designed structure which exhibits traditional architecture.
Bastakiya – This is an old district which gives you an idea of how Dubai used to look before the skyscrapers started to take over. It has very narrow lanes and lofty wind towers. Here you can also find the Al Fahidi Fort, which is the biggest concentration of traditional courtyard houses with wind towers.
Dubai Museum – This is one the tallest buildings in Dubai and is in the Al Fahidi Fort. It was built in 1799, and was used as a palace, garrison and prison. But later in 1970, it was renovated as a museum. It is breath taking with full size figures, colors and sound and lighting effects. One can experience scenes from the creek, traditional houses, mosques, date gardens, and marine life. There is also the magnificent underwater world of pearl diving.
Wonderland – This is a family fun park covering around eighteen hectares. There are lots in store for you including water attractions, speed slides, surf hills, wave pools, twisters and a cruise.
Magic Planet – This one is for children. It is an indoor entertainment house which has ten-pin bowling alley, a bungle jungle, electronic games and a mini putt. It is in the Deira City Center.
Parks and Gardens – There are a lot of parks and gardens all over Dubai. You can enjoy some of the largest parks in Dubai like the Jumeirah Beach Park, Dubai Creekside Park, Mushrif Park, Al Mamzar Park, and Safa Park.
Dubai World Trade Center – It is a marvelous structure with thirty nine floors and it houses the regional headquarters of many international corporations. It has a state of the art conference center and seven exhibition halls. By paying a small fee, you can have a fantastic view of the city from its viewing gallery.
Dubai City – Deira and Bur Dubai – the two parts of the Central Business District. They are connected by a tunnel and two bridges. They have all the necessities of an ultra modern city.
The Creek – a natural sea-water inlet goes through the center of the city. You will enjoy the creek most if you go across it by abra, an old traditional dhow, which goes across Deira to Bur Dubai.
Al Boom Tourist Village – Very close to the Creek Park is the Al Boom Tourist Village which has a banquet hall, a coffee shop, amusement park, ornamental lake and a marina with five cruise boats.
Bait Al Wakeel – This was built by Sheikh Rashid in 1934. It was an office building at that time but now it has been turned in to a museum devoted to fishing and maritime traditions.
In this article we have given you just a small taste of the types of things you can see and do in Dubai. However, there is much much more to this fantastic city. We have lots more to tell you about Dubai at the Dubai Visits website. Why not use the information there to plan an unforgettable trip to Dubai.

Gambling and the 20th Century Rulers Part4
Robert Mugabe
(1924)
Robert Gabriel Mugabe was born on the 21st of February, 1924 in the town of Kutama on the territory of current Zimbabwe. Before coming to power in 1987 he had spent 11 years in prison for participation in the national liberation movement. Robert Mugabe is famous, firstly, for his anti-American claims, as well as for the fact that in 2005 he the inflation reached the record 502% in the new 21st century.
Interestingly, but at the peak of inflation growth speaking in front of the journalists the president of Zimbabwe declared that the population of his country was “very happy”. What it meant to be “very happy” the president knew not through hearsay. A few years ago Mugabe won the state lottery’s main prize in the amount of 2 639 dollars. Curiously, but only those citizens took part in this lottery who had accounts in the National Bank of Zimbabwe, at this for every 135 dollars there was only one lottery ticket. Naturally, under the name of the current president there was registered the record number of tickets, that is why the prize did not keep him waiting for a long time. They say, the results of the lottery upset the citizens of Zimbabwe very much.
Robert Mugabe is a very temperamental person and a typical gambler by nature. A lot of his statements are made in a burst of passion and excitement. By the way, the attitude of the president towards gambling industry is not in the least bad: there are several casinos opened in the country, as well as race tracks with the totalizator, left to the Zimbabwean from English colonizers.
Augusto Pinochet
(1915)
Augusto Pinochet was born on the 25th of November, 1915, in a Chile resort town of Valparaiso. In September 1973 he organized a putsch against the president of Chile Allende and after his murder took the post of the head of the state. Like many other “heroes” of the 20th century, he was distinguished by mass terror in relation to the “otherwise-minded”.
General Pinochet was quite a cruel and ruthless person, but under his rule hyperinflation was stopped and economic growth began.
The Chilean dictator had a negative attitude towards gambling industry, and there were no gambling-houses in the country during his rule. However, he had rather a loyal attitude to holding a state lottery. Maybe it was because the control over profits from lotteries was entrusted to his daughter Lucia Pinochet Hiriart?
Only after a few years upon retirement of Pinochet under the president Eduardo Free a new casino was opened in the country in 1997.
At present Augusto Pinochet is in Chile under house arrest and is awaiting the trial for evasion from tax payment. The trial, by the way, perhaps, will not even take place because of his age and extremely bad heath.
We can continue mentioning great dictators and rulers of the 20th century and argue about their attitude to gambling industry. Iosip Broz Tito, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Idi Amin, Joseph Desire Mobutu, Muammar Gaddafi, Suharto, Thieu, Somoza, Marcos, Pol Pot, Ceausescu, Bokassa, Hissene Habre, Chombe, Franco, Duvalier, Mengistu Haile Mariam, Batista, Salazar and many others had different attitude to gambling. Some, like Marcos and Batista, liked it a lot, while others, like Gaddafi and Ceausescu, didn’t give it even a chance for existence.
While in Spain all power was in the hands of the general Franco Bahamonde Francisco, people were even afraid of talking about gambling-houses, but as soon as he died and the royal throne was occupied by Juan Carlos I, there were at once opened a number of casinos in the country. While Batista favoured gambling games, Fidel Castro, who substituted him, banned them at once. And it is clear. Batista was an American protégé, and Fidel was the one who fought against American imperialism. That is why casinos simply lost favour.
A lot of rulers of the 20th century were quite venturesome personalities having revealed their excitable skills in politics, and not on the cloth of the gambling table in the gambling-house. Who knows, if their passion had been connected with visiting of gambling establishments, perhaps, our planet would be quieter.
Total struggle against gambling in the 20th century was under way only in one, at this “the most democratic” country the USA. And after repressions, which failed, gambling industry there not only continued to exist, but started to flourish. The ideas of Marxism-Leninism did not give the right of existence of gambling establishments in the countries that chose the way of rise to radiant future in the form of communism, since the norms of the given ideology prescribed earning money by way of labour, and not in the hours of entertaining pastime. Countries practising traditional Islam do not allow gambling industry on their territory in accordance with their religious dogma. Despite this, Muslim Egypt, Tunis, Morocco and Lebanon have opened gambling-houses. The same was done by the Korean Republic, having demonstrated that ideology is ideology but if the country needs to earn money for the budget, gambling industry won’t hinder it.
Totalitarianism and gambling are not connected with each other in the least. The basis of struggle against gambling industry in 99 cases out of 100 is not the desire to protect the rights and interests of the citizens and the society, but the most trivial desire to win votes of people which any party, striving to come to power, pursues. Politics is rather a subtle thing.

Can You Really Enjoy World Travel On A Mini Budget
Many people hold in their dreams to become a world traveler, or to at least go on at least one trip to a foreign locale. The reason most people do not act on their desire to travel abroad is of course financial. There are ways to enjoy world travel on a budget, but you have to know where to look and where to lay your concern when searching for the right vacation destination and flight.
Although in recent years there have been more students that request student loans and government grant so get through their college years, there is also a surge in the number of college aged students that take trips to foreign locations. These excursions occur partly because of a foreign studies program or missions trip that is offered by the school and often partially covered from the semester’s tuition, but also because Americans, as a whole, are more apt to spend money that they do not have than they used to be.
In order to break down how students and adult travelers can travel abroad on a budget, we have to first separate the travel costs into categories. If you break down the trip into three categories and search for bargains in those three categories separately, you will be likely to find a good deal on each. The first category would be travel. The main portion of this category will likely be the trip to and from your destination, but you can also include transportation while on your vacation in this heading as well. For example, if you are traveling through Europe, you may be more likely to need several flights while on your vacation, whereas a trip to the Bahamas or Cancun would require only local travel.
Begin researching flight costs. You should do this at no less than three locations. Those three would be a travel agent, the internet (sites like Priceline and Travelocity), and the airlines themselves. At separate times, you may get the best price at any of these locations. If you think the first place you find a price for a flight is a great price, keep looking, you can always come back and get it in a few hours, after you have checked around. Also, if you are planning several smaller flights while on your vacation, there are great deals for short flights throughout Europe. These can also be researched on the internet or through your travel agent. If you are planning to rent a car, check with local companies in your home country to see if they can recommend a rental place in your destination, but also check with the locals once you have arrived and see where they recommend. Many times, the locals know better than anyone where to find a good deal.
Searching for a hotel can be done in much the same way as searching for your transportation needs. You should always check at least three separate places before committing. Know also that hotels in other countries are likely not the same as hotels in your own backyard. Many hotels may have community showers, while others will have private baths in each room or suite. Make a list of questions to be answered before booking any hotel. Once you have decided that the hotel you have selected is satisfactory in both appearance and price, then you should book the hotel to insure a room is available for you and your travel companion.
Finally, we come to entertainment money, or spending money as some would call it. You will inevitably want to spend money on your vacation, whether it be for meals or souvenirs for grandma. In all money spending situations, use your common sense. In foreign countries, it could be difficult to remember the exchange rate and know what you are spending on certain items, so an electronic exchange calculator is a great tool for your outings.
If you keep these suggestions in mind, you can enjoy world travel on a budget and still have a great time!

How Can Jesus Be God and Die, When God is Immortal.?
Christians wrote about the death of God then about the life of him- Michael Tsarion
Well I leave the philosophical implications to others. The one thing that bothers me the most about this myth. John 3:16 the xtians love to quote–yet–if one knows that death is not permanent and clearly is just a tiny amount of time in the eternity these mythical deitys had existed–then–there is no sacrafice whatsoever–it was totally without meaning with respect to the word sacrafice. Act in a informative play might be okay–the only true sacrafice would have been if the mythical deitys son was put to death and stayed dead–that would have meant something. There is no sacrafice involved in a no-lose situation. Therefore the word love in john 3:16 means nothing as well–he could have loved, hated, or been ambivalent–and as there was no loss–no sacrafice–as the whole thing was a no lose situation–anything said would have worked just as well. It’s like aying I love you and I’ll give you a ring–but it won’t cost me anything at all. Doesn’t particularly show someone cares about you enough to actually work to give you something or sacrafice to give you something. A very large sham is my opinion
Do you agree that Jesus = Horus?
Why is it not obvious to people that Jesus is simply the continuation of the Egyptian god Horus, respun for Jews via Old Testament exegesis? Even the birth story is straight out of Astrotheology. Revelation is also obviously astrotheological.
Most historians will not admit this, but, most historians are Christians, so I wouldn’t expect them to be unbiased on this point. They start with the assumption Jesus was god incarnate and go from there, so of course they are never going to reach the straightforward conclusion.
This knowledge has existed for well over a 100 years, long before the Zeitgeist movie began to popularize it.
Let’s see:
Horus
–noun Egyptian Religion.
a solar deity, regarded as either the son or the brother of Isis and Osiris, and usually represented as a falcon or as a man with the head of a falcon.

2.(“the Son of Sirach”) the author of the Apocryphal book of Ecclesiasticus, who lived in the 3rd century b.c.
3.Christian Science. the supreme example of
God’s nature expressed through human beings.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . no, sorry, I just don’t see it. Maybe some other random thing, like apple?
Apple
–noun
1.the usually round, red or yellow, edible fruit of a small tree, Malus sylvestris, of the rose family.
2.the tree, cultivated in most temperate regions.
3.the fruit of any of certain other species of tree of the same genus.
4.any of these trees.
5.any of various other similar fruits, or fruitlike products or plants, as the custard apple, love apple, May apple, or oak apple.
6.anything resembling an apple in size and shape, as a ball, esp. a baseball.
